Position Overview

The Coordinator of Online Curriculum is a 2 year project management contract w/possibility of renewal. The Coordinator will oversee the transition of courses onto the online learning format. This position will give leadership and oversight to the Distance Education staff, and coordnate/facilitate with faculty under the Associate Dean of Off Campus Education.

Primary Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for overseeing the development of online courses and degrees and creation of the system elements for the ongoing development of courses. The Coordinator will coordinate with other departments and schools to broaden Prairie's online education and ensure institutional wide collaboration. The Coordinator will initiate research for new online ventures and partnerships.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of master's level education.
  • The right candidate will have excellent servant leadership and facilitation skills.
  • They must work well in a team and know how to empower the gifts of others.
  • Person must have instructional and development experience and skill in online learning.
  • Must have a working knowledge of learning management systems and student information systems.
  • Person should have an understanding of online Christian higher education within Canada and the USA.
