Position Overview
The Director of Digital Media Ministry will oversee the coordination, administration of the Digital Media Ministry first-year, two-year and four-year programs. For more information on the Digital Media Ministry programs (http://www.prairie.edu/courses/DMM.htm)

Primary Responsibilities
  • The Director of Digital Media Ministry will primarily be responsible for program related aspects as well as various administrative and student management responsibilities.
  • Management responsibilities would include business and administrative responsibilities within the program including budgeting, training, and managing student interns, collaborating with faculty, administration, and partner agencies.
  • Program responsibilities will include working with the digital media instructors, coordinate training, any program travel, and coordinating student projects.
  • The Director may teach courses in digital media, leadership, and ministry.
  • The Director will oversee and manage a team of upper level intern students who will work with the director to run the first and second-year programs.
  • General responsibilities will include mentoring and coaching students and interns, spiritual formation and development of interns and students, assisting in the development of curriculum, and leading a team of interns who work in staff apprentice roles.
Qualifications
  • Must have excellent servant leadership and facilitation skills.
  • Must work well in a team and know how to empower the gifts of others.
  • Must have a passion for spiritual and leadership development of students and have mentoring, supervisory, and teaching, and administrative skills.
  • Must have experience and understanding of working in a digital media environment, and it would be highly beneficial to have an art background in the area of digital media.
